ABSTRACT
Malnutrition is a problem faced by the government at both the central and regional levels. Malnutrition can lead to death and infectious diseases, as well as impact intellectual development, productivity, and the growth of children. In efforts to address malnutrition, the role of stakeholders is crucial. The existence of Community Nutrition Improvement Programs (CNIP) can assist the government in implementing programs to improve community nutrition, aiming to prevent and address malnutrition. This study aims to: 1) analyze the implementation of the Community Nutrition Improvement Policy, and 2) formulate strategies to strengthen the institutional framework of the Community Nutrition Improvement Program. The methods used in this research are descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The research results indicate that the problem of malnutrition can be prevented through education, consultations, and examinations conducted at health centers and integrated health posts (posyandu). To address malnutrition, the government collaborates with communities or community groups. Health centers play a role in gathering information from posyandu cadres to detect cases of malnutrition. Healthcare workers are also actively involved in visiting families experiencing nutrition issues and monitoring their conditions and progress. To achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicators, there needs to be synergy and collaboration among different government agencies (SKPD) in community nutrition improvement efforts.
